The Mini W-16 Engine of the Bugatti Watch Moves and Looks Amazing
The new Bugatti watch perfectly epitomizes what a high-end watch should look like. Its miniaturized W-16 engine is an amazing piece of engineering that has many moving parts and looks amazing to behold. The wrist clock is officially dubbed the Bugatti Chiron 16 Cylinder Tourbillon. Because the actual Chiron has a powerful 1500-hp, 8.0-liter, and 16-cylinder engine, the masters at Jacob & Co’s had to design sixteen tiny pistons that move the solid steel crankshaft. The company says that this very crankshaft is among the smallest and most complicated watch parts to have ever been manufactured.
Jacob & Co. Designers Created a Watch That Feels Like it Belongs With the Vehicle
The designers at Jacob & Co. are among those who appreciate this kind of challenge, and the partnership with Bugatti has been welcomed with open arms. The watchmaking company has already produced two models that were inspired by models of Bugatti. There were 18 Twin Turbo Furious Bugatti watches made, as well as 110 Epic X Chrono Carbon Bugatti watches. It’s still unknown how many Chiron watches will be made but it’s safe to say that any and every person who purchases one won’t be disappointed.
The tiny engine in the new Bugatti watch can start spinning with the push of a button, and it has sapphire crystals on the sides and on the top. The sapphire crystal window, which shows the 16-cylinder tourbillon, was modeled after the Bugatti horseshoe grill. The crystals are housed in a titanium case that has the flowing lines of the Bugatti Chiron. Tiny Bugatti logo can also be seen on several parts of the watch.
