Family, Resilience, and Generosity: The Isaac Taylor Story

Isaac Taylor, a dedicated father of six from Roseville, California, cycled to work for half a year. This inspiring story begins with a car accident that left his family without a vehicle.

After an unfortunate accident that left their car totaled, Isaac, a security guard, took it upon himself to ensure his family’s well-being. With five daughters and one son, ranging in age from 3-19, and two of his youngest needing full-time care, his responsibilities were considerable.

A Commute of Love and Sacrifice

This daily ritual wasn’t simply about getting to work; it demonstrated dedication and responsibility! Rain or shine, Isaac pedaled through the challenges of his commute, all while ensuring each of his children made it to school. His commitment was a lesson in resilience, an example that spoke volumes about the lengths a loving father is willing to go to ensure the comfort and security of his family.

From Homelessness to a Helping Hand

Family Promise, a non-profit organization, had previously supported Isaac during a period of homelessness. Upon hearing of his situation, they decided to nominate him for a life-changing gift—Isaac was chosen to receive a fully paid, recently restored 2019 Hyundai Elantra!

From Homelessness to a Helping Hand

This generous gift was a collaborative effort, with Travelers’ Insurance donating the car and Caliber Collision Roseville refurbishing it as part of the National Auto Body Council’s Recycled Rides Program.

A Tearful Moment of Gratitude

The moment Isaac received the car was filled with raw emotion. He could not hold back his tears of joy. Isaac’s daily routine included a 16-mile round-trip bike ride to work and walking his children to school, showcasing his unwavering dedication. This heartwarming story illustrates the power of community and the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity.
