Palou Continues the Point Lead With Road America Win

Palou Made a High Jump in His Points Lead in the IndyCar Career Series

Palou, the Spanish racing driver, has finally scored his third win of the season by earning the Sonsio Grand Prix at Road America. Since the debut of Alex Palou in the IndyCar series, he has proven to the world what a fantastic racer he is. There are still nine more races to go this season for Palou, making a total of seven wins in his IndyCar career.

Palou on Winning the Race

According to Palou, beating Colton Herta was extremely hard as he thought he would never be able to catch him. Palou ultimately won because of the last great pit stop to full throttle on Colton. He kept pushing and putting pressure on Colton, finally defeating him to the winning line. By winning the race, he even made a massive jump from 51 points to 74 in his point lead in standing.

A Victory

Palou expressed how happy he was to see “Hello, Palou” flashing on the victory lane. He even mentioned that his team gave him that great pit stop and told him to keep going and going. It was an excellent win for the team owner Chip Ganassi as he stated that Palou is a phenomenal driver with a lot of heart and a lot of drive. However, Palou might soon leave the team after this season as he is going to shift to Team McLaren to possibly enter the big leagues of Formula 1.
